What happens to undeliverable shipments

If a US shipment cannot be delivered, it will be automatically set for disposal. A shipment is subject to disposal when any of the following conditions apply:
  • The shipment has moved beyond Received status and has been physically inducted into transit
  • The shipment has transitioned away from received in the platform, reflecting the physical movement of the package
  • All re-delivery attempts have been exhausted without a successful delivery
  • A return is requested but the package is no longer in a pre-transit state
Disposal eligibility is based on the physical movement of the package, not solely on its return status in the platform.
