# How to Batch

> Step-by-step guide to batching shipments for pickup or drop-off on the UniUni Platform.

Batching groups your shipments together under a single label so UniUni can process them as one unit at intake.

## Step 1: Select shipments

1. Go to the **Shipments** page from the left navigation sidebar.
2. Check the shipments you want to commit to a batch.
3. Select **Actions** above the table, then choose **Add to Batch**.

You can add the selected shipments to an **existing batch** or **create a new batch**.

## Step 2: Name your batch

If creating a new batch, give it a name. Choose something that helps you identify the drop-off run — for example, a date or order group.

## Step 3: Print and attach the batch label

Once your batch is ready:

1. Navigate to the **Batches** page.
2. Select the batch from the table.
3. Select **Print Batch Label** to download and print your label.

Attach the batch label to the outside of your sealed drop-off box or bag before handoff.

## Step 4: Drop off or request pickup

With your batch sealed and labeled, choose how to hand it off:

* **Drop off** — Bring the sealed batch to a UniUni drop spot location.
* **Request pickup** — Schedule a pickup from your location through the **Pickups** page.

<Warning>
  Do not drop off shipments without a batch label attached to the container. If more than one unassigned shipment is received on the same day, a handling fee will be charged to your wallet.
</Warning>
